Mr. Zimmerman has practiced public accounting since 1977 and became licensed by the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy in 1983. He became a partner with the firm in 1987. He specializes in providing accounting and tax services to businesses and individuals involved in oil and gas, farming, ranching, manufacturing, construction and retail. He is also a consultant to area businesses and associations on information technology applications. Mr. Zimmerman has a unique combination of practical and technical experience gained from auditing local governmental entities and school districts. He is the firm's managing shareholder. Mr. Zimmerman is a past president of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs. He serves his church as a trustee and deacon. Also, he is serving on the board of directors of the Beaumont Public Schools Foundation, Inc.
