Mr. Frank began his accounting career with Theobald & Edgar, CPAs upon graduation from Lamar in 1962. In 1967, The Texas State Board of Public Accountancy licensed him as a Certified Public Accountant. In 1981, Mr. Frank left a ten-year career as controller with Servomation Corporation in Beaumont, to join Arthur Greenspan as a principal in Arthur Greenspan & Co., P.C. In 2002, the merger of Edgar, Kiker & Cross, LLP and Arthur Greenspan & Co., P.C., each a highly respected firm recognized for 50 years of practice, formed Edgar, Kiker & Cross, PC. Mr. Frank’s 30-year career in public accounting has been primarily tax oriented with services provided to area businesses and individuals to include ERISA audits, audits of financial institutions, write-up services provided to businesses and professional firms, and tax planning and return preparation for individuals, trusts, corporations and partnerships. Mike has been an active leader in professional and community affairs having served the Southeast Texas Chapter of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants as president, the Young Men’s Business League as Rodeo Chairman, Fair Chairman, and President, the Fire Museum Board, the Magnolia Cemetery Board and the Lamar University College of Business Advisory Council.
